Closet Furnace Installation
There are quite a few types of the closet furnace installations, such as:
- Down flow and up flow furnaces installation in houses with a crawl space
- Up flow furnace installation in houses built on a slab with supply ductwork in an attic or in trusses
- Installation of the heating and cooling units in apartments and hotels and so on
Your mechanical room or furnace room should:
• Contain no flammable or combustible materials, such as paper, cardboard, paint or other solvents
• Be equipped with a self-closing fire-rated door
• Be equipped with smoke and fire detectors
• Be finished with fire-resistant walls and ceilings
• Contain a C02 or dry chemical fire extinguisher
• Be well ventilated to reduce vapor concentrations
• Remain dry
• Be accessible to firefighters
The difference between let’s say basement furnace/ductwork installation and the closet one mainly lays in amount of space available for the unit, ductwork and the other equipment. Unfortunately when I was doing these types of installations I did not have a camera with me or it was very long time ago. Therefore, if you are a professional installer and involved in the closet furnace installation on a daily basis I may need your help!
So, the bad news is – you cannot find any useful information on this page. However the good news is:
If you are a homeowner or apprentice interested in this subject:
- Sign up to the upcoming chapter here, it is free of charge and I will notify you when this chapter will be ready. The price for the upcoming chapter will be at
3.46 ($0.46 PayPal fee)
If you are a pro and would like to participate in this project you can contact me on this page.
Here is how I see our cooperation may work:
- Let me know if you are having enough experience in the subject and you are able to write a chapter for my "Ductwork Installation Guide". Then I will elaborate what I would like to see in this chapter
- Once I see that there is at least 50 visitors to this page a month and/or I will get 20 subscribers I let you know and I will pay you
100.00.
This page exists for more than two month and I have noticed a very interesting trend.
During this time more than sixteen percent of its visitors actually came back. This is the third highest number of the returning visitors on my entire website!
What does that mean?
That means that people need this upcoming page to the point they coming back to check out if there are some changes on the page!
Is this good news or bad? I am thinking both!
Look, if you need the “Closet Furnace Installation” chapter so badly just sign up to it and I will know that there are some customers waiting for it! In addition if I will know that there are let’s say 30 subscribers verses 20 then I can increase the reward money!
If you are an installer and willing to write this chapter for me just step forward and let me know that you are out there waiting for a signal from me, taking the necessary pictures, thinking how this should be done!
Folks, just stop being lazy! Stop hoping that somebody else will walk this extra mile for you, let me know about your intentions and get what you need!
